Lynda Soebbing
Lynda “Nana” Soebbing, 57, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away April 28, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. A Celebration of Life is pending at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Susan B. Komen Foundation or Wayside Waifs.
Lynda was self-sacrificing, always put her family first, enjoyed traveling and taking pictures with her camera. She was a very good baker, a genuine person with a beautiful smile. Lynda worked at Goodwill Industries, enjoying helping the less fortunate. She also worked at Concorde Career Center, where she helped students to be accepted into school and follow their career paths. [Read more…]

Kathleen “Kathy” Ann Soligo King, 72, of Parkville, Mo., passed away peacefully on April 27, 2019, at Saint Luke’s Hospice House of Kansas City after a long illness. In her final days, she was surrounded by many loved ones.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at St. Therese Catholic Church 7207 N.W. Highway 9, Kansas City, MO. Christine L. May, 99, a resident of Blue Springs, MO formerly of Novinger, MO passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 23, 2019. She was born August 26, 1919 to Sol and Nellie (Miller) May in Putnam County, MO.
Christine spent the majority of her working career as a property management specialist for the Veteran Affairs (V.A.). She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 499 in Blue Springs and VFW Adair Post 2508 in Kirksville, MO. Christine volunteered 3,800 hours at the V.A. Hospital in Kansas City. Christine enjoyed traveling all over the world, pheasant, duck hunting as well as fly fishing. [Read more…]
