James Scott Phelps, 48, of Pleasant Valley, MO formerly of Paoli, IN passed away February 28, 2018, at his residence. He was born April 16, 1969 in Paoli, IN to Emmons and Joyce Sue (Lindsey) Phelps.
Scott graduated high school in Paoli and attended Indiana University. He spent his entire career in electrical contracting and was currently employed as an estimator for PAR Electrical Contractors in Kansas City, MO. Scott was a motorcycle enthusiast; enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with family, friends, and his beloved dogs. He was of the Christian faith. [Read more…]
Madeline M. Abbotte-Sanford, 75, a resident of Blue Springs, MO passed away peacefully on Monday, February 26, 2018. She was born March 11, 1942 in Kansas City, MO to James and Mary (Slyman) Ritzer.
Madeline spent the majority of her working career as a bar tender in the North East area of Kansas City. She was Catholic by faith. Madeline was a terrific cook and enjoyed vacationing, playing bingo and shopping. [Read more…]

Pete Anthony Girardi, 88, of Blue Springs, MO passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 in Independence, MO surrounded by his family. He was born September 14, 1929 in Kansas City, MO to Antonio and Vita (Lipari) Girardi.
Pete served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Japan. He was united in marriage to Jean Burgio on March 3, 1962 in Kansas City, MO. Pete was an insurance agent for Farmers Insurance Company for 35 years before his retirement in 1995. His whole life was his family. He dearly loved his wife, children and grandchildren and truly cherished the time he spent with them. Pete was tender-hearted, jovial, and funny. [Read more…]

On October 24, 2022 Loretta was promoted and named manager of our Northland location. Loretta and her husband Cade live in Kansas City, MO. She has two sons, Nigel and Ian. Loretta is enrolled in the Leadership Northland Class with the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the KCI Rotary Club.
