Wade was united in marriage to Julie Baker on September 15, 1990 in Wellington, MO. He worked in the trucking industry for twenty plus years, and spent the last seven years as a sales rep for Old Dominion in Kansas City, KS. Wade was a member of the Woods Chapel United Methodist Church in Lee’s Summit, MO. He was a sports fan and loved working in his yard. James Leland “Lee” Kenslow, 84, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on October 24, 2017 at Country Club Care Center in Warrensburg, MO surrounded by his loved ones. He accepted Jesus Christ and was baptized on October 18, 2017.
Lee was born in Edwardsville, Kansas on September 6, 1933 to James Newton and Susie (Johnson) Kenslow. He was raised in Turner Kansas on Berry Street. Lee loved to hunt and fish on their large property. He went to work on a dairy farm when he was 13 years old and gave his earnings to his mother to help with the household expenses of a large family, 4 boys and 1 girl. Lee graduated from Turner high school in 1951. He served in the Kansas Army National Guard and Army Reserve for 8 years. [Read more…]

Shirley was united in marriage to Harry O’Bryan on April 2, 1966 in Noel, MO. She worked as a pharmaceutical tech at Aventis Pharmaceuticals. Shirley was a member of the American Legion Post 499 and enjoyed fishing, dancing and playing cards.
