Vickie Jean Creekmore, 67, a resident of Kansas City, MO passed away peacefully Monday, July 31, 2017. She was born April 15, 1950 to Marvin O’Dell and Margaret (Higgs) Nedwed in Carrollton, MO.
Vickie worked at the Jackson County Court House as a court clerk. She was Baptist by faith. Vickie enjoyed watching movies, reading, painting, sewing, and tending to her plants and flowers. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her grandchildren. [Read more…]
Doris L. Colley 88, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away July 30, 2017 at her home. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday August 3rd at Meyers Northland Funeral Chapel, 401 Main Street in Parkville. Visitation will precede the service 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. Burial will be at Terrace Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Trinity Broadcasting Network.
Everett William Kern Jr., 82, of Lake Winnebago, MO passed away peacefully Saturday, July 29, 2017. He was born May 25, 1935 in Blue Springs, MO to Everett Kern Sr., and Thelma (Bennett) Wyatt.
Everett was united in marriage to Suzuko Endo at the American Embassy in Tokyo Japan on November 8, 1963. He proudly served in the United States Army and retired in 1977. Everett later worked as a communication specialist for the General Services Administration (GSA) and retired in 1996. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling. [Read more…]
Robert Edwood Lamb, 80, of Blue Springs, MO and formerly of Tampa, FL, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017. He was born September 20, 1936 in Queens, NY to Robert Lamb and Rita King.
Robert served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. He spent the majority of his working career as a realtor and owned Lamb Realty while he lived in the Tampa, FL area. Robert later worked in commercial real estate for Coldwell Banker, from which he retired. He was Catholic by faith, a faith that protected him during his years of riding bareback broncs and Brahma bulls in rodeos. Robert had a true spirit of adventure and a deep love for animals. Mary Frances Emery, 89, a resident of Grain Valley, MO passed away peacefully Friday, July 28, 2017. She was born October 27, 1927 in Kansas City, MO to Alonzo and Frances (Walters) Rouse.
Mary was united in marriage to Clarence Emery on May 3, 1947 in California. She worked for the Department of Agriculture for 23 years and retired in 1986. She later worked a Silver Dollar City as a cashier for 7 years. Mary was a long time parishioner of Our Lady of the Cove in Kimberling City, MO. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and needle work. On October 24, 2022 Loretta was promoted and named manager of our Northland location. Loretta and her husband Cade live in Kansas City, MO. She has two sons, Nigel and Ian. Loretta is enrolled in the Leadership Northland Class with the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the KCI Rotary Club.
