H.H. “Dusty” Rhoads, 87, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 30, 2017 at St. Mary’s Manor in Blue Springs, MO.  He was born to Howard and Lovell (Todd) Rhoads on January 19, 1930 in Clinton, MO.

Dusty was united in marriage to Barbara Fairbanks on July 19, 1952 in Harrison, AR.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army.  Dusty worked in the insurance industry as a claims manager.  He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and playing gin rummy at the Elks Lodge #2509 in Blue Springs, MO.  Dusty was an extremely devoted husband and family man.  He also enjoyed spending time with his friends. Cassie Marie Seward, 81, of Oak Grove, MO passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017.  She was born July 18, 1935 in Rich Hill, MO to Edgar and Ludie (Hilt) Church.

Cassie was united in marriage to John Seward on June 27, 1952 in Rich Hill, MO.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crossword puzzles, sitting on her front porch swing, watching black and white t.v. shows, and spending time with her granddaughter.  [Read more…]

Farren Eugene Boley, 59, of Blue Springs, MO passed away unexpectedly in a motorcycle accident Monday, April 24, 2017.  He was born March 28, 1958 to Paul Boley and Ida “Jane” (Moscoe) Young.

Farren was employed at the Walmart Distribution Center in Harrisonville, MO.  He previously worked for Safety Clean in Kansas City, MO and retired in 2001.  Farren enjoyed hunting, riding his Harley, gardening, and anything that dealt with the outdoors.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand.  [Read more…]
