William Roach

William T. “Bill” Roach, 96, of Liberty, MO passed away March 31, 2017, at Our Lady of Mercy Country Home, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born March 13, 1921 in Baxter Springs, KS to Jack and Lula (Paul) Roach.

Bill graduated from Central High School in Kansas City, MO and was a decorated veteran of the United States Army, where he served in Europe during World War II.  During his time in the service, Bill was awarded several medals and awards.

Martin EbertD. Martin Ebert, 94, a Northland resident of Kansas City, MO passed away March 31, 2017.  He was born April 17, 1922 in Blackwell, OK to Martin and Edna Ebert.

Martin lived the majority of his life in Kansas City and was a nursing home administrator.  Martin lived his life for others.  He was very devoted to his Lord and his family.  He was a member of the Gashland Baptist Church.  Martin was an excellent carpenter, and could build just about anything. Barry Spears

Barry Nelson Spears, 71, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away March 30, 2017. Barry was at home surrounded by his loving family. A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, April 6th, at Meyers Northland Funeral Chapel in Parkville, Mo. from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Memorial services will be held Friday, April 7th, 10:00 a.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church in Alma, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Missouri Department of Conservation (mdc.mo.gov), of which Barry was a lifetime member.

Barry started his career working as a ticket agent for Continental Airlines for 20 years.  He then changed paths and became a butcher. Welcoming his regulars with a smile was one of his many charms. Barry retired from Hen House Market (off I-29 & 64th street) in 2015.  [Read more…]

Loretta is a Kansas City Northland native and has played a key role in the success of the Meyers Northland location. On October 24, 2022 Loretta was promoted and named manager of our Northland location. Loretta and her husband Cade live in Kansas City, MO. She has two sons, Nigel and Ian. Loretta is enrolled in the Leadership Northland Class with the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the KCI Rotary Club.
