Darlene Jamison, 87, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016 at John Knox Care Center in Lee’s Summit, MO. Services are currently pending and will be finalized Monday morning at 10:00 a.m.

Robert E. (Bob) Burt entered his heavenly home on Sunday, October 30, 2016. He was born June 5, 1926, in Bussey, Iowa to Francis Burt and Grace Hauenstein Burt and was the last surviving of eight children.
During his high school years Bob was involved in every sport where he exceled even receiving a football scholarship. He served in the U.S. Air Force in WWII for two years where he met his future wife, Mary Emma Bates who worked at the Base Post Exchange in Merced, CA. [Read more…]
Thomas A. McFarland, 83, a Northland resident of Kansas City, MO passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at his residence. He was born July 7, 1933 in Kansas City, MO to James and Mary (Kennedy) McFarland.
Tom graduated from Westport High School and was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, where he served during the Korean Conflict. He spent the majority of his working career in the printing business. Tom was an avid sports fan, enjoyed following the Kansas City Chiefs and watching golf. On October 24, 2022 Loretta was promoted and named manager of our Northland location. Loretta and her husband Cade live in Kansas City, MO. She has two sons, Nigel and Ian. Loretta is enrolled in the Leadership Northland Class with the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the KCI Rotary Club.
