Michael E. Roderick, 64, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at the Kansas City Hospice House.   He was born September 17, 1951 in Ft. Leonard Wood, MO to Junior Leslie and Mildred P. (Pearcy) Roderick James.  He graduated from Houston, MO High School and served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era.  [Read more…]

Frank Diecidue, Jr., 89, of Blue Springs, MO passed away March 27, 2016 at his home. He was born September 14, 1926 to Frank and Jennie (George) Diecidue Sr. in Kansas City, MO.

Frank was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during World War II. He worked as the Superintendent of Canfield Construction for several years in the Kansas City area. [Read more…]

Alice Soriano Reed, 87, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Friday, March 25, 2016. She was born August 20, 1928 in Kansas City, MO to Adolph and Julia (Godinez) Soriano.

Alice enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family, she was a grandma to all, not just her own grandchildren.  She also enjoyed flea markets, and cooking. She was Catholic by faith. Alice was preceded in death by two sons, Tony Lopez and Larry Vasquez, and two brothers. [Read more…]

Harold R. Larson passed away on March 24, 2016 at the age of 89.  He was born on September 8, 1926 in Oskaloosa, IA and moved with his family to Lincoln, NE in 1931.  After graduating from Lincoln High School, he served in the Naval Air Crew as an Ordinance Man Tail Gunner on a PBM Martin Mariner from 1944 to 1946.  [Read more…]

Lawrence L. Loker, 86, of Blue Springs, MO passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 23, 2016.  He was born on February 9, 1930 to Nelson and Flossie (Carr) Loker in Berlin, NY.

Lawrence served his country proudly in both the Army and Navy.  For 10 years Lawrence owned and operated a Graphic Arts company in Washington, D.C., where he unexpectedly met his lifelong partner of 47 years Mario Diaz.  [Read more…]
