Delwood Bagley, 83, passed away Monday, February 29, 2016 at the NorthCare Hospice House. He was born April 25, 1932 in Flint, MI to Barney and Beatrice (Wode) Bagley. Delwood graduated high school in Flint; earned his BS in Religion from Graceland University; and his MA in Counseling from University of Missouri. He spent the majority of his working years in education administration for several colleges and universities, most recently, as the Director of the Weekend/Evening College at Park University. Harry Trow
Harry L. Trow, 94, of Independence, MO passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016 at his home. He was born January 21, 1922 in Kansas City, KS to William and Harriet (Lobdell) Trow. On October 13, 1945 he was united in marriage to Kathryn Graham, and she precedes him in death. Harry proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII. Thelma Marie Kutz, 91, Parkville, MO formerly of Kimberling City, MO passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 29, 1924 in Springfield, MO to Leo and Mabel (Yocum) Lefler. They preceded her in death. She was educated in Mountain Grove, MO and then received her BS in Education from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield. Linda Lee Larson, 62, of Grain Valley, MO passed away at her home on Saturday, February 27, 2016. Linda was born October 5, 1953 in Torrance, CA to Leroy and Dorothy (Converse) Reed. On July 28, 1983 she was united in marriage to Vern Larson, and he survives of the home. She was a home maker, and enjoyed reading and spending time with her granddaughter. Linda was preceded in death by her mother.
Lyle Wells
Lyle Henry Wells, 94, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away peacefully on Friday, February 26, 2016. He was born on March 31, 1921 to Ralph and Mary (Helton) Wells in Good Hope, Ill.
Lyle was united into marriage with Ethel “Fern” Wonderly on October 4, 1952 in Bartlesville, OK. From that union 6 children were born. Lyle worked as a Ground Safety Engineer for the United States Air Force Civil Service, retiring in 1986 after 22 years. He was Methodist by faith. While his children were young he was very involved in their activities, coaching sports and being involved in the Boys Scouts of America. He enjoyed making clocks, collecting model trains, playing and watching baseball. His greatest enjoyment in life was spent being around his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
