Kathryn Marie Kruse, 65, a Northland resident of Kansas City, MO passed away January 30, 2016, at the NorthCare Hospice House. She was born on February 22, 1950 in Golden Valley, MN to Gilman and Helen (Solie) Storlie.
Kate was an educator and held several different college degrees. She spent the majority of her career as a Reading Specialist in the Grandview, MO Public School System, where she taught reading to high school juniors and seniors. Education was her passion. Glenn E. Allmon, 88, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 at his residence. He was born March 1, 1927 in Kansas City, KS to Amos and Verna (Weast) Allmon. On August 16, 1947 he was united in marriage to Dorothy (Hardy) Allmon whom preceded him in death. Glenn taught Industrial and Fine Arts at Van Horn High School in Independence, MO for several years. Billie Daniel, 85, of Kansas City, MO passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, January 22, 2016. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the Platte Woods United Methodist Church 7310 N.W. Prairie View Rd, Platte Woods, MO. Funeral Service will start at 11:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association, Platte Woods United Methodist Church or Sister Servants of Mary.
