Mary Kay O’Brien, 79, of Independence, MO passed away Monday, November 30, 2015 at her home. Mary was born May 4, 1936 in Blue Springs, MO to William and Elizabeth (Menke) Niemeyer. On October 7, 1961 she was united in marriage to Richard O’Brien who preceded her in death. Mary Margret (Marlatt) McNerney, 92, passed away Monday, November 30 at New Mark Care Center, surrounded by family and friends. A wake will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Meyers Northland Chapel, 401 Main, Parkville, MO. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Con-Celebrated 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Therese Catholic Church in Parkville, where a Parish Rosary will be prayed at 10:00 a.m., prior to Mass. Walter was born March 19, 1994 in Lexington, MO to Walter Sr. and Courtni (VanDenabeele) Pollard. He graduated from Fort Osage High School in 2012.
