He was born November 17, 1950 in Kansas City, MO to Simon and Helen (Storms) Dennis who preceded him in death. Danny attended R. J. DeLano School for Special Needs. Ethel L. Lord, 88, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014 in Lee’s Summit, MO. Ethel was born April 23, 1926 in Bates County, MO to Clarence and Katherine (Fleischer) Bearce. On May 16, 1953 she was united in marriage to Vernon Lord who preceded her in death. Ethel retired from Sears, Co. after 20 years, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Blue Springs. She served as president of American Legion Post 499 Ladies Auxiliary, was a member of the Eastern Star, and served VFW 8 and 40. [Read more…]
Dorothy Jean Allmon, 86, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born February 2, 1928 in Novelty, MO to Herschel and Reca (McQuary) Hardy. On August 16, 1947 she was united in marriage to Glenn Allmon and he survives at the home. She taught Art and Music at Pilot Knob and Iron Mountain, MO schools and later became a full time homemaker. She was a member of St. John LaLande Catholic Church.

Richard “DJ” Coyle, 64, of Parkville, Mo joined his heavenly Father and family Thursday, September 25, 2014. He was born June 15, 1950 in Kansas City, Mo to Richard L. and Clara (Potts) Coyle.
DJ joined the United States Army serving in the 173rd Airborne Brigade. He served two tours in Vietnam and earned the National Defense Service Medal, Parachute Badge, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal with 60 DVC, two Overseas Bars, Purple Heart Medal, Army Commendation Medal and the Marksman (Rifle M-14) and Sharpshooter (Rifle M-16). Loretta is a Kansas City Northland native and has played a key role in the success of the Meyers Northland location. On October 24, 2022 Loretta was promoted and named manager of our Northland location. Loretta and her husband Cade live in Kansas City, MO. She has two sons, Nigel and Ian. Loretta is enrolled in the Leadership Northland Class with the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the KCI Rotary Club.
