Dr. V. Carl Jelley, Jr., M.D. was born on July 15, 1943 and died on May 29, 2013 at the age of 69. He is survived by his daughter, Cantrell Wenzel, of Blue Springs, MO. He is preceded in death by his brother, Lee Jelley, his father, Vernon Carl Jelley, Sr., and his mother, Bernice Jelley. Homer R. McKeehan, 80, a resident of Riverside, MO passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013 with his family at his side at NorthCare Hospice. Homer was born December 14, 1932 to Loueva Janney and James Floyd McKeehan in LaMonte, Missouri.
Homer was a hardworking man who strived to provide for his family. He had a sense of humor that lit up a room. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren putting smiles on all our faces. God and Family always came first. Steven Alexander
Steven Carl Alexander,53, Kansas City, North passed away on May 25, 2013 at the NorthCare Hospice House, following a courageous battle with cancer. Steve was born on June 16, 1959 in Pittsburg, KS to Robert and Donna (Radford) Alexander. He graduated from Windsor High School in 1977 and received a double major from Central Missouri State University in political science and business administration.
Steve married Khadija Erraji on July 12, 2003. Then came the family Steve had wanted for so long, with the birth of their two sons Amir and Ryan. He was an avid hunter, a passion he wanted to share with his sons. He enjoyed watching the boys play soccer and taking them fishing.
Steve worked in the lumber industry most of his life. He and his business partner, Tom Smith co-founded KC Deck Supply.
