John Joseph “Jack” Kalahurka, 70, a resident of Kansas City North, MO, formerly of St. Joseph, MO passed away Friday, March 29, 2013 following a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born April 29, 1942 in St. Joseph.
The early years of his life were spent in St. Joseph, where he attended Cathedral Catholic School and Christian Brothers High School. He then moved to Kansas City, where he graduated from De La Salle High School and attended Kansas City Junior College.
