Mary Jo Hesterberg
Mary Jo Hesterberg 77, of Blue Springs, MO passed away peacefully at home February 27, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was born August 19, 1934 in Redland, OK to Oscar and Susie (Jordan) Brunk. On September 24, 1951 she was united in marriage to Gene H. Hesterberg in Van Buren, AR, and they enjoyed 60 years of marriage. She worked at Lanard Toys, and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Blue Springs. She was an active and long time member of Blue Springs Country Club, Country Club of Blue Springs Women’s Golf Association, Blue Springs, First United Methodist Church Women’s Circle, Country Club Bridge Club, Bunco Group, and Young Matrons Society of Independence, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents; a, grandson, Timothy Ridpath, and other brothers and sisters.

Richard Laverne Spears, 65 of Blue Springs, Mo. passed away Sunday February 26, 2012 at the Golden Living Nursing Center in Independence. A Celebration of Richard’s life will be 7:00 pm Friday March 2, 2012 at the Meyers Funeral Chapel 1600 W. Main St. Blue Springs, Mo. with the Rev. Cliff Caton officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm prior to service. Graveside Service will be at 10:30 am Saturday in Pilot Grove Cemetery # 1 near Jamesport, Mo., with full military honors. Luisa Toledo-Espinosa
Luisa Toledo-Espinosa, 75, a resident in Kansas City, MO passed away Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the North Kansas City Hospital. Luisa was born April 5, 1936 in Santa Clara, Cuba to Maria Luisa Espinosa and Rodolfo Toledo. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Jorge Yero of New Jersey. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted with the Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville. There will be no formal service scheduled.
