Dorothy “Darlene” Jordan, 78, of Shawnee, KS, formerly of Lake Viking, MO passed away September 4, 2017 at Shawnee Gardens. She was born May 21, 1939 in Iowa City, IA to Cletus “Stub” and Lillian M. Cross Davis.

John J. Jarosz, 81, a Northland resident of Kansas City, MO passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017 at NorthCare Hospice House. John was born October 19, 1935 to Frank S. and Marguerite K. (O’Neil) Jarosz in Kansas City, MO.
John graduated from DeLaSalle Military Academy, Class of 1953. He was a veteran of the United States Navy; he served on the USS Mauna Loa Ammunition Ship during the Korean Conflict. During his military service, John enjoyed playing baseball in the Mediterranean against other sailors that had docked at the same ports.
