Paul Davis, 91, of Grain Valley, MO passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Village House in John Knox Village Lee’s Summit, MO. He was born February 3, 1927 in Springfield, MO.
Paul was united in marriage to Athelia Noah on October 29, 1951 in Kansas City, MO. Paul was a WWII veteran serving in the United States Air Force as a Flight Engineer. He was stationed at many different air bases including the Rhein Main Air Force base in Germany. While there he participated in one of the first flights during the Berlin Airlift. He was also involved in transporting injured servicemen from Europe back to the states. While state side he was assigned to transport injured servicemen to various locations all along the east and west coasts to various hospitals.
Many other comments could be made about Paul, but first and foremost He was a good man!
Survivors include children, David Davis of Independence, MO and Don Davis (Pam) of Grain Valley, MO; grandsons, Brian and Patrick Davis of Columbia, MO; great-granddaughter, Georgia Davis of Columbia, MO.
The family will receive friends and family from 9-10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 W. Main St, Blue Springs, MO.
