Carl Edward “Ed” Bradley of Lake Waukomis, MO left us on Friday February 2, 2018 after bravely fighting several illnesses. Ed was born on February 15, 1945, in Kansas City, MO to Carl and Betty (Douglas) Bradley.
Ed’s devotion to his family was unwavering. Besides his wife, Peg, his children are: Amy, Mike (Meredyth), Stephanie, Scott (Kris), Luke (Kinuko), Meg and departed William and Katie. The lights of his life (AKA) grandchildren are: Drew, Ryan, Jesse, Kensi, Kennedi, Dyllan, Ella, Chase, and Deklin. Additional family includes many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Ed is preceded in death by his parents and brother Tom Bradley.
Ed was deeply committed and active with numerous organizations, some being a volunteer firefighter (Plattsburg, MO and Lake Waukomis) and American Red Cross, Reach Out America, Platte County EDC, Northland Chamber of Commerce, Parkville EDC, Kansas School of the Blind, he spearheaded the formation of Perkins Park in Plattsburg, MO, Parkville Downtown Association and Riverside Chamber of Commerce.
Ed’s Celebration and Remembrance will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Park University-Breckon Sports Center at 8700 N.W. River Park Drive, Parkville, MO.
