Dale was born February 21, 1961, in Warrensburg, MO, to Harold and Donna Chaney of Holden, MO, the second of three children. He was active in many activities as a young adult, including athletics, music, agriculture, business, and student government, graduating from Holden High School in 1979. He was a high achiever, lettering in football, basketball and tennis, and serving as captain of the Holden High School football team and president of the Student Council. E. Arlene Hampton, 69, a resident of Weatherby Lake, MO passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 with her loving family by her side. Arlene was born February 19, 1948 to Arley and Norma Jean (Cornwell) Pait in Kansas City, MO.
Arlene was an insightful intellect who spent a significant portion of her working career with the airlines, starting as a Flight Attendant for Pan Am and Braniff, and ultimately working at the old Frontier Airlines as the assistant to Chief Pilot, Bob Locket, where he was known as “Rocket Locket.” It was with Frontier that her path crossed with Michael Hampton – a pilot with Frontier – and they were soon joined in marriage. Cheryl Ann McComas, 55, of Liberty, MO passed away January, 19, 2018, She was born December 13, 1962 in Richmond, MO to James Henry, Jr. and Minnie Frances (Kohl) McComas.
She graduated from Hardin Central High School in 1981, where she excelled in basketball. Family and friends were most important to Cheryl. She was a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church and volunteered many hours at both her church and at Martin Luther Academy. Cheryl spent the majority of her working career as a selector for Hallmark Cards; worked in the bakery at Price Chopper and filed immigration papers for Summit Technical Solutions. [Read more…]
