David W. “Dave” Link, 78, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 at his home. A Celebration of Dave’s life will be held at a later date.
Dave was born February 27, 1939 in South English, IA, the son of David L. and Marjorie (Brower) Link. He graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1957, received his BA from McPherson College in Kansas, and his Master’s Degree from Central MO State University in Warrensburg. Dave had many years of Education, starting out as a teacher at Truman High School, he then worked in the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation through the Missouri State Department of Education. Esther Butkovich, 94, a resident of Blue Springs, MO passed away peacefully December 15, 2017 at the Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence, MO. She was born January 7, 1923 in Netawaka, KS to Elmer L. and Edith Worner.
Esther worked for Helzberg’s for 19 years and retired from Jackson County Public Works Department. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Blue Springs and was a current member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Blue Springs. She loved polka music and dancing. Paul Stephen McDonald, 60, of Grain Valley, MO passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at his home. He was born June 6, 1957 in Kansas City, KS.
Paul is a veteran of the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Anna Marie Meyers on October 17, 2009 in Lee’s Summit, MO. Paul spent the majority of his working career as a LPN at the Harry S. Truman VA Hospital in Columbia, MO.
