Betty worked several years as a secretary for Missouri Gas Energy. She later worked as a day care provider for Whatsoever Community Center in Kansas City, MO. Betty was a longtime parishioner of St. John Lalande Parish in Blue Springs, MO.
Survivors include daughter, Cindy Snapp of Blue Springs, MO; son, John Snapp of Joplin, MO; sisters, JoAnn Drye of Marshfield, MO, Shirley Hughes of Jamesport, MO. She is preceded in death by husband, John Snapp; parents, Jess and Louise Ailor; brother, Dick Ailor.
The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Meyers Funeral Chapel, 1600 W. Main St, Blue Springs, MO. Graveside service will follow starting at 11:30 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Rainbow Center in Blue Springs, MO.
