Hanna M. Mills, 25, a resident of Parkville, MO was called home by her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Hanna was born May 3, 1992 to Martin K. and Sonya M. (White) Mills in North Kansas City, MO.
She graduated from Park Hill South High School in 2010 and continued her education at Truman State University to pursue a Nursing degree; where she was also a member of the sorority ASG.
Hanna was a warm and caring person, as she touched many lives with her love and faith. She might have been small in stature but she was mighty in spirit; especially overcoming many medical obstacles during her lifetime. Hanna will be remembered for her collection of Mickey and Minnie Mouse memorabilia. She is the #1 fan of all time! Her strength and perseverance inspired numerous individuals with her 25 year battle.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Survived by her loving parents, Sonya and Martin Mills; a sister, Haley Mills of Parkville, MO; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and fiancé, Philip Orlando.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 3, 2017 at St. Therese Catholic Church 7207 N.W. Highway 9 Kansas City, MO, where a Sharing of Memories time will follow at 7:00 p.m. The Rosary will be prayed at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 4, at St. Therese Catholic Church, where the Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
