Orville Merle Lavern Geller, 62, of Kansas City, MO passed away in Lee’s Summit, MO Saturday, July 15, 2017. He was born on August 22, 1954 in Kansas City, KS.
Orville served his country in the United States Army and competitively boxed while in the service. He was united in marriage to B. Jeanette Hulme in February of 1980 in Winnemucca, NV. Orville worked as a diesel mechanic for 35 years and owned Geller Repair for 12 years. He later worked as a diesel mechanic for North Kansas City Transport. Orville attended St. Peters Cathedral in Kansas City, KS. He enjoyed riding his trike, and playing pool.
Survivors include, children, Katrina McGonigle (Dave) of Independence, MO, Carrie Kooken of Stillwell, KS, Melanie Livingston (Todd) of Starkey, OR, Shanna Geller Carroll of North Kansas City, MO; mother, Mary Hurst of Lee’s Summit, MO; siblings, Peggy Ballinger of Lee’s Summit, MO, Dora Bell of Kansas City, KS, Joe Geller (Lynn) of Maryville, MO, Rick Geller of Kansas City, KS; Cathy Geller of Kansas City, KS, Katie Wilcox of Lawrence, KS, Sean Wilcox of Kansas City, KS, Butch Wilcox of Kansas City, KS; grandchildren, Delaney, Brittany, Courtney, Mandalyn, Albaney, Elijah, Grayson, Liana, Wyatt, Colton, Emmeline, Dally, Ashley, Cody, Justin, Lykan; great-grandson, Lincoln. He was preceded in death by his wife, B. Jeanette Geller; sister, Jackie Wright; step-father, Sam Hurst; niece, Cassie Geller; brother-in-law, Kenny Ballinger; sister-in-law, Gail Geller.
