Ethel M. Oliphant, 83, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Monterey Park Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Independence, MO. She was born July 28, 1933 to Lee and Grace (Embury) Grauf in Plattsmouth, NE.
Ethel was united in marriage to Bill Oliphant in 1951 and they shared 59 years together. She worked as an office manager at Gott-Rubbermaid for 20 years. Ethel was formerly a member of the First Christian Church of Plattsmouth, NE. She enjoyed reading, watching TV, and spending time with her family.
Patrick James Buckley, 33, of Raytown, MO passed away unexpectedly May 2, 2017. He was born June 9, 1983 to Fredrick Jr. and Susan (Crowson) Buckley in Independence, MO.
Patrick had an infectious laugh and smile. He was as kind-hearted as they come, and never knew a stranger. An amazing son, brother, and friend. Words cannot describe his personality.
