Born in Perryton, Texas on July 13, 1928 to Ray and Edith (Crum) Batman, she received a degree in Radio from the University of Denver, then moved to Missouri when her family purchased Sni-A-Bar Farm in Jackson County. She married Eugene Tierney in 1956 and they raised six children in Grain Valley and Harrisonville. She loved her children, but loved grandchildren Kate and Alex more. [Read more…]

Lee Ann Turner, 57, of Parkville, MO passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 13, 1958 in Newton, KS, the daughter of Donald and Dorothy Ann (Penner) Cannon. Lee Ann received her Bachelor of Science from Kansas State University and was a Registered Dietitian. She was employed for over 30 years by Aramark and was a Food Service Director at the St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City. Lee Ann was very devoted to her work and was very good at her job.
