Eugene E. Fannon, 78, of Independence, MO passed away Thursday, February 27, 2014 at NorthCare Hospice. He was born June 13, 1935 to Henry and Lillian Fannon in Washington Courthouse, OH. On September 15, 1979 he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Johnston and she survives of the home. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard. He was a food service broker and owned Advance Marketing in Phoenix, AZ. Eugene was a member of Blue Springs Assembly. He loved spending time with friends, family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
In addition to his wife Elizabeth, he is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Colleen Riker and husband Brandon of Phoenix, AZ; step-daughter, Marianne Thomas and husband Larry of Independence, MO; step-son, Archibald Campbell and wife Kate of Freemont, CA; grandchildren, Zachary and Patrick Downing, Heather McNeal, Stephen Thomas, Daniel Thomas, Elizabeth Campbell, Louisa Campbell, Charlotte Campbell; great grandchildren, Peyton McNeal and Jace McNeal.
A memorial service for Eugene will be held 7:00 pm, Monday, March 3, 2014 at the Blue Springs Assembly, 2501 NE Duncan Road Blue Springs, MO conducted by Pastor John Martz.
