Bernadine K. Debrick, 80, Parkville, Mo passed away November 14, 2012 at her home. She was born November 22, 1931 in Kansas City, KS to Bernard and Anna (Bergman) Knoff and graduated from Bishop Ward High School.
Bernadine moved to Platte County in 1956 and had been a resident of Parkville since 1965. She was a faithful member of St. Therese Parish since 1956 and often attended daily mass and was a former longtime member of the church choir. In the 1960’s and 70’s, she co-owned a couple of businesses with her husband and spent the rest of her working years at the family business, Ann’s Laundry and Dry Cleaners, where she retired from in 2009. Lowell E. Pauli, 80, of Blue Springs, MO passed away November 13, 2012 at his home. He was born April 17, 1932 in Thayer, MO to Ernest and Mary (Drier) Pauli. On August 16, 1958 he was united in marriage to his wife Joan and she survives of the home. Lowell was a US Air Force veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was the South Area Administrative Librarian for the Mid- Continent Public Library system for 29 years, retiring in 1995. [Read more…]

John M. Hilderbrand was 82 when he passed away November 10, 2012.
He was one of eight children, born November 11, 1929 in Wadesboro, North Carolina to Forrest and Corrine Hilderbrand. As a young man John followed work to southern Missouri where he met Margaret Roberts. John and Margaret married in July of 1949. He worked in “line work” and progressed to Journeyman Lineman when he moved his family to Blue Springs in 1953 and became a member of IBEW Local 53. [Read more…]
